Tanto explain that he had rented the man a place and had recently gave him an eviction notice but the tenant refused to move, despite been given enough time to move and identify somewhere else.
Tanto said that last Friday he went to the house to confront the man but the tenant showed no immediate signs of wanting to leave. Tanto proceeded start removing window blades from the how when he was stabbed in the back at least three times.
A report was made to police and the alleged assaulter was arrested an charged. Tanto received treatment at the Spanish Town Hospital and then later received additional treatment at a private medical practice.
