TV PERSONALITY JODY-ANN GRAY FREED FROM DANGEROUS DRIVING CHARGES
Former host of host of the FIWI Top 10 Charts countdown, Jody-ann Gray, was last freed from dangerous driving charges when she turned up in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court last Friday.
Gray said that while driving along Port Henderson Road (popularly known as "Backroad") she overtook a police service vehicle, when the road was clear. She said immediately after she saw flashing blue lights. She told the Judge that when she stopped, 4 policemen approached her roughing her up and was then allowed to drive to the Bridgeport Police Station.
Gray told the court that she did nothing illegal and was not speeding and overtook the service vehicle properly.
The Judge in summing up the case said that there was inconsistencies in the officer's statement and told Gray that there was no way in proving that she was driving dangerously.
Editor: Tell you bout these police weh don't have nothing to do and waste people time. Dem dont have nothing bout dem roughing up the woman like that. Is police like dem give good police bad name.
